The challenge
Airwallex came to us with an ambitious idea: suspend panes of glass from a giant rig, each representing a key financial pinch point, before having Lando Norris shatter them with his golfing skills.
Alongside the TVC, we also needed to create a separate bespoke social film featuring Lando and McLaren Team Principal Zak Brown - all within the same 60-minute allocation we had with Lando.
Our Approach
The concept was creatively ambitious and logistically complex. To make the most of our limited time with Lando, we built two production units - one dedicated to the TVC and another to social working in parallel on two very different briefs.
Every element of the production was meticulously planned around the 60-minute window. With practical effects at the heart of the creative, extensive preparation and testing were essential. We needed to know exactly how the glass would shatter, where it would fall and how we would capture it—because when the cameras rolled, we had one chance to get it right.
The Results
The campaign launched across Sky channels to coincide with the Ryder Cup, placing Airwallex alongside one of the biggest events in the golfing calendar.
The accompanying bespoke content extended the campaign across YouTube and Instagram, giving Airwallex a joined-up broadcast and social campaign built around one of Formula 1’s most recognisable names—and all captured within a single 60-minute shoot window. The TVC went on to win gold at the 2026 Muse Awards.
