The challenge
Ashurst Perkins Coie needed a statement film that clearly established who they were as a new leading force in law. But they didn't want to look or sound like every other firm in the sector. They approached us to develop a distinctive creative concept that would set them apart and position the new firm as ambitious, modern and forward-thinking.
Our approach
We used virtual production to create a bold visual world for the film, combining VFX, physical props representing key sectors and a lead protagonist who could bring a human connection to the story.
As one of the first major expressions of the new Ashurst Perkins Coie identity in motion, we were also responsible for translating the brand into film — establishing how it could look, feel and behave on screen.
With a short turnaround and client teams spanning the United States and Australia, close collaboration was essential. A structured communication and feedback process kept decisions moving across time zones and ensured we stayed on track for both the shoot and launch.
The results
The film became a central expression of the new Ashurst Perkins Coie brand at launch, giving the firm a bold and distinctive way to introduce itself to the world.
Rolled out across social channels and placed front and centre on the firm's website, the film helped establish the visual language of the new brand and created a consistent, recognisable statement across key launch touch points.
